Hafiz, the "Nightingale of Shiraz," is renowned for his lyrical ghazals, often imbued with a sense of longing, passion, and spiritual yearning. His poetry delves into the complexities of love, both earthly and divine, and explores the mystical path towards union with the Beloved. His works, such as "Gül o surme" and "Aşk-e 'ālim," are celebrated for their beauty, depth, and timeless wisdom.

Rumi, the "Celestial Rose," is equally revered for his mystical poetry, particularly his masterpiece, "Masnavi."
