Intermittent Water Fasting

Grandpa Bill has been intermittent water fasting , since I lost my 50 lb. of weight some 10 years ago and counting. It is a great way to satiate ones self, cut the cost of foods, and improve overall health.If you have ever tried to lose weight, you know that eating healthy food and moving your body are important components of any weight-loss plan. But did you know that reaching or maintaining a healthy body composition happens in both your body and your mind? In fact, if you have tried repeatedly to lose weight but have never been successful or you lose weight but then gain it back (and then some!), it is most likely that your thoughts and beliefs—not your diet—are holding you back. That’s because excess weight is a reflection of your mental or emotional state. And the number one reason people fail to lose weight is that they neglect to make changes in their subconscious mind to support their conscious goals.


Meditation is a great vehicle to enhance a calming healthy enhancement to moving, working out, breathing. Now there is research to suggest that fasting (deemed uncivilized by our ancestors) could actually help you lose weight and make your immune system stronger.


Today’s society for sure, has seen the perpetuation of stress surrounding meal time planning.This is actually a process that may have more negative effects than benefits.
